1565 Red Moon Raids - Maltese Corsair's Legacy
Inspired by my continuous reading on the history of my home country Malta. I was fascinated to find out that my ancestors were the most feared licensed pirates Corsairs during the Malta Great Siege period around 1565. The simple name Maltese struck fear all around the Medeterrain in those days.
Here is my tribute to them.
